Haitian Earthquake Resources

On January 12th, 2010 just before 5:00 pm, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit 10 miles from the capital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince. The biggest earthquake recorded in the region, with widespread damage caused. The Presidential Palace collapsed, along with many other homes and buildings in the area.

    In the event people want to contribute food, clothing and essential supplies to this relief effort, people can bring them to the Yerwood Center located at 90 Fairfield Ave. in Stamford, Monday through Friday, between 9:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., and on Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
